Peace Tree Brewing Company is dedicated to brewing handcrafted, full-flavored beers with a great attention to quality. Our brewery began in 2009 in a former Nash Rambler car dealership on Main Street in Knoxville, Iowa. Head brewmaster Joe Kesteloot came to us with years of professional and home brewing experience and brought with him a true passion and creativity for developing his own unique recipes. We held the grand opening for our 20-Bbl brewhouse in March 2010, and within a month, were producing and bottling our brews – hand-delivering them to stores, bars and restaurants around the state.

Since that time, we’ve grown quickly, adding four 40-Bbl fermenters to our original lineup of two 20-Bbl and two 40-Bbl tanks. We now distribute across the state of Iowa, as well as Nebraska, Kansas and Minnesota.

Today, we have 6 full time employees, who brew, package and sell our products. Our friendly taproom staff work the front lines to ensure you have a great visit.

Brewing great beer is our passion, but we are also passionate about where we have come from and where we are going.

The names of our beers often have connections to the places in our past, especially derived from memories and places in our community and our state.

Beers-

Red Rambler: .Since the brewery is located in what was once a Nash Rambler car dealership, it seemed appropriate to honor this history with a beer. The Red Rambler Ale is also one of the most popular in our taproom with its deep red color and malty flavor. The malt character is balanced with three varieties of hops. It is a versatile beer that can be enjoyed alone or pairs well with a broad spectrum of foods, especially flavorful meat, fish and cheese. 5.8% ABV Bottle or Draft

Hop Wrangler: Hop Wrangler 3 is a multi-national take on the classic India Pale Ale, which is known for its intense hop bitterness, flavor and aroma. We use American, English and Belgian malts for flavor, body and color. This brew includes six hop additions of American and English hops, one each in the mash and first wort, three in the boil and finally a dry hop addition in the fermenter. It is finished with Belgian yeast which develops esters that complement the bouquet of hop aromas. 6.25% ABV Bottle or Draft

Blonde Fatale: Our Belgian-style Blonde Ale will steal your heart as the unfiltered golden hue seduces your taste buds with surprising smoothness. It’s delicately hopped with Styrian Golding and Celeia for medium aroma with a crisp and refreshing bite. The Belgian yeast adds hints of fruity complexity, but be warned – it’s mysterious charm will draw you in again and again. And, at 8.5% ABV, will catch up with you if you’re not careful. Drink responsibly. Bottle or Draft AND MORE!!!
